Back by popular demand Bear Archery Species EV is derived from the fan-favorite Species. The Species EV is an EVOLUTION of the popular single cam bow with an impressive 80% let off. The Species EV is a compact, smooth, and lethal alternative for the hardcore bowhunter. The Species EV offers more adjustability with a 23.5" - 30.5" draw length and either 36-60lb or 40-70lb limbs. The Species EV comes as a Ready-to-Hunt (RTH) bundle which includes a Trophy Ridge sight, Whisker Biscuit V, stabilizer and wrist sling, lightweight 5-Spot quiver, D-loop, and peep sight. This single cam bow offers arrow speeds up to 320 FPS and features KillerWave vibration dampeners to increase accuracy in every shot.

As they say, if it isn't broke, don't fix it and Bear didn't change the Species EV other than transitioning to a slightly different stabilizer. Everything else stays the same. 

Who Is This Bow For?

"The Species EV is the best entry into archery and bowhunting bow on the market after having hands on nearly every bow in the category throughout the year. This bow fits early teens on to those on up to those that have shot a bow for the last 50 years. I have found this bow to do best with a mechanical broadhead and upgrading the cable slide before we even turn a wrench to a roller really helps the longevity of the string set. I really like this bow for those in a 25" to 29" draw length."

What Your Stage 1 Tune Includes 

Throughout the process, we ensure we are satisfied with the build quality of the bow itself, how it is tuning and that it meets our personal expectations before it is boxed. 

We use a combination of our staff hand shooting your bow package as well as utilizing the Bow Smith shooting machine to ensure our package meets the expectations we have for it throughout the process.

• Measure your draw length and fit the length to the bow or set bow to your specified draw length
• Adjust the draw weight your preferred weight
• Install all accessories, set dropaway timing if applicable, install peep, set nock height and center shot
• Retie the D Loop & Peep Sight correctly
• Use computer assisted spine program to determine proper spine and arrow 
• Speed Test with Chronograph 
• Sight in at 20yds indoors  
• Record all tuning & setup data on Bow Build Sheet so you know what specifications your bow package was setup on.

Dalton's Suggested Upgrades:

Peep Sight

-"The stock plastic peep has the rubber tube to help keep the peep straight but the tube ends up coming loose or snapping. I recommend our standard aluminum 3/16 peep upgrade that does not have a tube. 

 Arrows:

-"Being that the RTH package does not include arrows (and seldomly do the arrows with the Extra package that Bear offers spine out properly for anybody's setup), you will need arrows to get shooting. If you order arrows from us with your package, we will use our computer software to determine the best arrow solution to fit your draw length and draw weight."
